Header Stats

Net Worth is your total portfolio value including cash. Total Cash is the value of your Cash bucket. Portfolio Income is the sum of Fund Income (investment funds only) and Cash Income (cash bucket interest). Dividend Bucket Yield is the income yield on your Dividend bucket only — not the whole portfolio.

Income Gap Analysis

Total Income is Pension Income plus Portfolio Income. The Income Gap is the remaining shortfall needed to hit your target, also shown as a % of your invested funds.

Funds & Accounts Table

Each bucket type has an active rebalance pair — the first 2 Growth funds and the first 2 Dividend funds in the table. They're marked R for Growth and R for Dividend, and can sit anywhere in the table — drag rows to reorder. Any extra funds beyond these pairs are excluded from the rebalance calc.

The split between your Growth and Dividend buckets is driven by Target Dividend Bucket £. If you set it £X higher than your current dividend pair total, the calc will plan to shift £X from Growth into Dividend. Within each bucket, the Growth pair is solved against your Growth Target USA % and the Dividend pair against your Dividend Target UK %. These are configured in ⚙ Settings.

Edge case: if you set the Target Dividend Bucket £ higher than the combined total of both rebalance pairs, the Growth pair targets zero — i.e. the calc plans to drain both Growth R funds into the Dividend R funds.

The Dividend Target Mode toggle controls what happens when the current dividend pair is above the target:

  • Hold Dividends (default) — won't force a sell to feed Growth; lets the dividend bucket drift above target while still topping up when it's below.
  • Match Exactly — pins the dividend bucket to the target both ways, including selling down when it's above.

Each fund has two target columns:

  • Ideal (£) — aspirational. Where you'd end up if Target Dividend Bucket £ were perfectly hit. Always cross-bucket aware.
  • Target (£) — actionable. What to actually move toward today, given the current mode and bucket totals. In Hold Dividends mode with dividends above target, this falls back to a within-pair swap.

Variance and Status are calculated from Target, so they tell you exactly what to buy and sell today. The Variance Threshold % setting (⚙ Settings) controls how big a swap must be (as a % of the larger fund in the pair) before a buy/sell action is triggered. The larger fund in each pair is marked (trigger) in the Status column when no action is needed.

Drift Indicators

Shown above the Growth and Dividend Geographic Allocation charts. Compares your actual regional weighting to your Growth Target USA % / Dividend Target UK % (⚙ Settings), in percentage points (pp) rather than a relative %. For example, +2.3pp means your actual weighting is 2.3 percentage points above target — not 2.3% higher in relative terms.

Fund Sell Calculator

The Fund Sell Calculator Thresholds (⚙ Settings) set how close to a fund's All Time High (ATH) price it needs to be before it is considered good to sell. If a fund is within your Green Threshold % of its ATH it is shown as Good to Sell. Within your Amber Threshold % it is shown as Marginal. Beyond the amber threshold it is shown as Do Not Sell.

Distribution Sale Calculator

Accumulation (Acc) share classes roll income back into the fund instead of paying it out, so they throw off no cash to live on. This works out how much to sell to replicate the payout the equivalent Income (Inc) share class would have made — letting you draw a "distribution" from an Acc holding.

Equiv Inc Units is how many units you'd hold if you were in the Inc class instead of Acc. Inc Dist (£) is the cash those units will pay — your target payout. Exact Acc Units and Value to Sell (£) are how much to sell to raise it, in units and in cash.

The ETF toggle will round down the Acc Units to Sell to a whole number, and Shortfall (£) shows the small amount that rounding leaves short of the target payout.
